Sister Pamela Owens, CSJ is a member of St. Tom's Pastoral Team, reponsibile for the recruitment and training of our liturgical ministers, adult confirmation classes, and for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, the process by which people are brought into the Catholic faith.

Sister Pam is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, where she ministered as a teacher, director of religious education, campus minister, youth minister and community formation director. She also served as a missionary in El Salvador for three years.

Sister Pam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, a Master of Arts degree in Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Theology, with a concentration in New Testament Scripture and is a member of the Catholic Theological Society of America. She came to St. Tom's in August 2010 from Florida where she ministered for 12 years teaching theology in the Blessed Edmund Rice School for Pastoral Ministry, a branch of Barry University, an Adrian Dominican school based in Miami.
